New Partnership with East Kensington Neighbors Association

The Philadelphia Public History Truck is delighted to announce its first community partner in East Kensington Neighbors Assocation.  PPHT greatly looks forward to hitting the pavement to work with the community of East Kensington to launch its first exhibit within EK boundaries:

–Front Street and Kensington Avenue in the West

–Lehigh Avenue to the North

–Trenton Avenue/Frankford Avenue to the East

–Norris Street to the South.

We are also bursting with joy to announce that PPHT has acquired the use of a truck! East Kensington Neighbors Association President Jeff Carpineta is lovingly sharing his old ice cream/water ice truck, which awesomely reads “A Touch of Philly” across the front, and we could not be more grateful.  Get ready to meet PPHT on the streets sometime soon!
